The latest XPS Card Printer Driver is available and features additional ribbon splits, laminator warm-up status, card counts since last cleaning of the printer, and other improvements. The Datacard XPS Card Printer Driver uses Microsoft XPS print technology to support card production using an SD160, SD260, SD260L, SD360, SD460, CD800, CD820 and CE840 systems. The following operating Systems (latest service pack recommended) are supported with the XPS Card Printer Driver v6.1:
- Windows 8.1, 32 and 64-bit
- Windows 7, 32 and 64-bit
- Windows 2012 R2 Server, 64-bit
- Windows 2008 R2 Server, 64-bit
- Windows 2003 R2 Server, 32-bit
Note: Windows XP and Windows Vista are not supported by the Card Printer Driver, but installation is allowed on these operating systems:
- Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit
- Windows XP with SP3, 32 bit

NOTE: This plug-in version included with the v1.0 driver installation requires ID Works v6.5. Customers with ID Works versions older than this must upgrade to ID Works v6.5 or continue to use the older plug-in for non-laminator printers. The older plug-in is not included in this driver installation and is available here. here.
The Datacard XPS Card Printer Driver uses Microsoft XPS print technology to support card production using an SD260, SD260L, SD360, SD460, CD800, CD820, and CE840 systems.
Windows XP with SP3, 32-bit is the only Operating System that is supported with the XPS Card Printer Driver v5.0.
Note: Card Printer Driver 5.0 does not support the SD160 or Regionalized 98 mm ribbons.

This firmware package contains important security updates. The firmware can only be installed on the SD260L, SD360, SD460, CD800, CD800 with Laminator, CD820, CE840 and CE870 Card Printers which have the D3 main control board installed. The instructions for updating firmware are included in this download. Please read and understand all instructions before upgrading the printer’s firmware. If using the Datacard XPS Card Printer Driver and SDK, we recommend downloading the latest version available.
The firmware update utility supports the following operating systems (latest service pack recommended):

XPS Card Printer firmware D2.11.56-5001 is used only on D2 main control boards.
This firmware has the ShellShock vulnerability patch fix and can only be installed on the SD260, SD260L, SD360 and CD800 Card Printers listed below. The instructions for updating firmware are included in this download. Please read and understand all instructions before upgrading the printer’s firmware.

The firmware update utility supports the following operating systems:

The Configuration Utility is used to test and configure the pcProx Plus Dual Frequency 125 kHz Proximity and 13.56 Contactless Card Reader. A user guide is also installed when the program is installed.

This is the latest firmware for the newer style SCM SCR331-DI Smart Card reader. SCM's USB Firmware Update Utility is required to download this file to the SCM reader.
This is the smartcard driver for the new SCM SCR331-DI Smart Card reader. The previous version of the smartcard driver for the old SCM SCR331-DI Smart Card reader cannot co-exist with the new version. The old version must be deleted before the new version can be installed. Refer to the smartcard manual for installation instructions to install the smartcard driver.
The Software Development Kit provides codes samples and documentation to software developers for developing Microsoft Windows applications that work with SD, CD and CE series card printers and the version 6.1 XPS card printer driver. Samples are provided as source code and compiled binaries for Visual C++, Visual C#, Visual Basic, and java. Developers who need application control of printing preferences, application control of card movement, or require data from the card must use the SDK.
