If you are using ID Works, IDCentre, or WebID and would like to incorporate
facial capture functionality with 1 of 11 Canon® DSLR camera models, download
and run the attached file. This software plug-in will interface with one of the
Canon DSLR cameras listed below.
- Canon EOS-1D Mark III
- Canon EOS 40D
- Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III
- Canon EOS 450D/Rebel XSi
- * Canon EOS
1000D/Rebel XS
- Canon EOS 5D Mark II
- Canon EOS 50D
- * Canon EOS
500D/Rebel T1i
- Canon EOS 7D
- Canon EOS-1D Mark IV
- * Canon EOS
550D/Rebel T2i
* These cameras have been tested by Datacard.
Datacard supports the use of DSLR-1 camera plug-in software with the
following applications:
- Datacard ID Works® v6.5
- Datacard ID Works® v5.1 with Service Pack 1 applied
- Datacard IDCentre™ v6.5
- Datacard IDCentre™ v5.2
- Datacard WebID™ Workstation v6 or later
Operating systems supported by the applications listed above are supported by
the DSLR-1 camera plug-in with the following exceptions:
- Windows 2000 is not supported by the camera plug-in.
- Windows XP 64-bit is not supported by the camera plug-in.

Before installing the upgrade, make sure you have the following:
- Datacard® Tru™ Photo software (any version)
- Canon® G9 or SX100 IS digital camera
- Datacard® ID Works® software v5.x or v6.x for use with Windows 2000 or
XP
or
- Datacard® ID Works® software v6.5 for use with Windows 2000, XP or Vista

The Tru Photo Software Service Pack 1 only affects customers using:
- Tru Photo v6.0 [build 6.0.723]
- Tru Photo v6.1 [build 6.1.802]
- Tru Photo v6.1 SP-350 communication loss deviation [build 6.1.809]
This Service Pack addresses the following issues:
- Olympus® SP-350 or FE-130 camera lens does not always retract
- Olympus® SP-350 or FE-130 camera looses communication

Datacard Group is pleased to announce a service pack for users of Datacard® Tru™ Photo Solutions software. This service pack only affects customers using Tru Photo software v4.2 or v4.3 running on Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system. The Tru Photo Solutions - Service Pack 1 includes the following fixes/improvements:

Note: Customers using JPEG 2000 image coding system for photo storage and Datacard® ID Works® identification software v4.x will also need to install SP1_JPEG2K files. Please refer to the instructions below.
If you are using Datacard® ID Works® identification software v5.x, do not install the SP1_JPEG2K files.

SP1_JPEG2K Instructions
1. Shut down all ID Works software applications.
2. Using Microsoft® Windows Explorer, open the application bin directory. (Default directory C:\Program Files\Datacard\Bin)
3. Unzip the attached files into the application bin directory. Answer yes to any overwrite questions you might be asked.
